The versatile floating platform was supplied by Rudders Boatyard and is available for use by other test projects.

test aims:
The Swansea University research team set out to understand the turbine’s response and performance in relation to the real-world flow conditions at Warrior Way.
Multiple Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) devices were positioned around the turbine to capture the real-time tidal flow during testing.
test outcomes:
The team gathered valuable data to share with the scientific community, providing tidal energy researchers with data needed to move more quickly towards commercial viability.
