test aims:
To test and validate Gul-Corp’s tidal technology which is designed to operate efficiently at low flow tidal stream sites. Their aim is to be able to power off-grid assets with clean energy and a minimal environmental impact.
test outcome:
The test programme deployed the 1/3 scale turbine on the Rudders Boatyard tidal testing barge in realistic conditions at Warrior Way. Gul-Corp is now developing a seabed-mounted system to be tested at META in 2027.
